Daniel Lai
Co-Founder and Executive Vice President
Mr. Daniel Lai co-founded SystemWare, Inc. with Dr. Stan Kranzler in August 1988. Since the inception of SystemWare, Mr. Lai has served in various executive positions including COO and CFO and has managed corporate finance, quality assurance, operations, engineering, and production functions of the company. Under Mr. Lai’s guidance, SystemWare has established itself as the leading technology solution provider for the electronic security and test & measurement market with strong balance sheet and growing shareholder equity. Mr. Lai’s invention of table driven hardware drivers allows SystemWare software products to seamlessly and efficiently control and monitor new hardware equipment. This invention greatly reduces user system integration time and creates a key competitive advantage for SystemWare products over other comparable systems.
Presently, Mr. Lai serves as Co-founder and Executive Vice President of the company. In his position, Mr. Lai works closely with the company’s CEO and the management team to develop corporate business strategies and guide the future direction of the company. Mr. Lai balances his time between executive management and engineering development.
Prior to SystemWare, Mr. Lai was an engineering manager at Dynamic Sciences, Inc. where he developed hardware drivers for high-end RF receivers. He also worked at ITT Industries as a test engineer specialist and was responsible for developing battleship radar systems. Mr. Lai holds a M.S in Computing Engineering from California State University, Northridge and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Chung-Yang University, Taiwan.
